...and put down the anvil? Honestly, that is what I thought the Arctic Monkeys were singing in Fake Tales of San Francisco until about a week ago!
Don't ask me why, but I decided to google "get off the bandwagon and put down the anvil" the other day, only to find out that I was not alone. Apparently, loads of people have misheard "get off the bandwagon and put down the handbook." Are you one of them?
I'm usually good at figuring lyrics out. The last time I misunderstood a lyric was when I honestly thought that Madonna was singing, "Last night I dreamt of some bagels," rather than "San Pedro" in La Isla Bonita. However, some people never seem to get lyrics right (like my brother, Howard, for instance). This got me thinking...so, I searched the Internet and came up with a top ten list of Funniest Misheard Lyrics for your enjoyment:

(Real lyric: "'Scuse me, while I kiss the sky")
